I'm overweight. I lost about 40 pounds towards the end or high school and my freshman year of college. A college senior now, I have managed to keep 30 of it off. I'm still working towards my ideal weight and taking steps toward a healthier lifestyle. I'm troubled to see all of the negative remarks about people that are obese and overweight on this page. It's strange to see that people make such hasty judgements of people based solely on appearance. We don't know strangers. How can we make such opinions if we know nothing about them?
