Sometimes when I walk through campus I imagine that we're all in a big plastic bubbles that just bounce off each other, even strangers who see each other EVERY day just slip past each other. It sucks that a lot of us are privately having a tougher time than we let on and we probably walk by each other on campus and have no idea that, oh there goes that person whose post really resonated with me. I guess it just feels that there's a lot of worthwhile, genuine connections lost there. But I guess there's nothing to be done about that, being afraid to be open to others is just part of the human struggle, we all know that.
