Stop assuming that southern or rural people are default conservative. Or that they default hate POC or the LGBTQ community. Shit sucks for POC and LGBTQ everywhere. And guess what, it sucks for poor southerners too. That's why they go to university. To better themselves. Fun fact: a lot of southern states had longer term integration programs than northern areas which is why Richmond schools are more mixed than Boston schools.

I only became a registered voter because my ex made me. Said she couldn't be with a man that doesn't take politics seriously. We did not last long. Why do rural/southern/midwestern conservative people even bother going to a university? If you lack the common sense to not be a trashy redneck, how is college gonna help you? Complaints about gender pronouns, diversity, social justice warriors, etc. If you can't muster up the basic intelligence to pass the easiest morality test of all time (not voting for a demagogic tyrant), what are you hoping to achieve with higher learning?
