I am finishing my freshman year here at UMD. I am planning on it being my last year of college for some time. In my time here, I have made three friends and reconnected with two old ones. Correct, I only have five friends, and most of them don't know each other. I would like to spend time with them these final weeks before school ends, but I know they will be busy studying for finals, and I will not be studying. I will just be sitting in my room on the computer, as always. If I can end up following through with my primary plan, I may never see these five friends again. I am leaving school and trying to join the military on active duty. I wish I could spend time with my friends. My regret is that I came here and wasted family money and time by throwing away my grades. I don't wish I had done better or tried harder, I almost wish I had never come here in the first place. It has done me little good: I am in worse physical condition than I was before I came here, I wasted a lot of money on supplies and food, I barely have any friends. What did I learn?
1) If you don't want to be here, don't be here.
2) If you don't drink/party, you will not have many friends. (See item: 5 friends)
3) Honesty no longer pays off. Don't lie, but don't share everything.
4) Cherish the sleep you get.

With regards to the MTG posts.....I think that it's a stupid childish game. Nobody should pay that much for little cards that are really worthless. Put your money towards family or friends. There are cheap hobbies, you kids .
