I do not get this shill about working very hard to try to be great. I honestly think this is just a trick to get everyone to work harder nothing more. At the end of the day there are always going to be winners and losers. Even if everyone devoted 24 hours of their lives to succeeding their is still going to be room for only a very select group of people at the very top. When the amount of work one does is controlled, the only way for a person to get ahead is through natural talent and luck. So this bromide of hard work as a virtue is disingenuous at the least, and evil at worst. In effect the more work you put in the less valuable the work becomes.

I don't see how anyone can possibly think +/- grading is less fair as a whole. Cutoffs are going to be somewhere with letter grading. With +/- grading the difference between an A- and a B+ is a 3.7 to 3.3 instead of a 4.0 to a 3.0.

moments after he became Indigo League champion, he was
