#3652 Please, unless you've tried to kill yourself, stop telling all this confused and depressed kids what to do. They know everything you are going to say and none of it is making them feel any better. Drumming into them "go seek help" is just reinforcing the notion that they are defective.
A lot of them feel powerless in the midst of a mob of people that keep pressuring them in a direction away from where they want to be. Laying it on isn't going to help. But giving them a place like this where they can feel empowered to express them selves without being pressured to anything can be enough relief to give them a chance to mentally regroup and stand their ground against the mob and figure who they are, and that real world is a hard place but even if you'll never have your dream life you can have enough moments of happiness/contentment/peace to make all the bullshit worth putting up with.
And to all those people out there depressed or thinking of ending it, run wild! Get what you need to off your mind. You will probably never be king of the world, but you can get to a point that you're happy with. So for now, vent, rant and confess your hearts out while you work on figuring out. Good Luck!
