#4012 again.
It seemeth so I have gotten overwhelming backlash and perhaps this isn't the right forum to voice these concerns but I thought I should offer at least a counter to these protests before leaving it aside, though I doubt many will entertain this. I should also preface that I still treat all beings with respect, at least outwardly so do not think that I "bully" or make fun of anyone that claims so for he/she still receives good treatment but I wholly disagree with their stance and perhaps maybe I'll come full circle to their views one day. Firstly, I wasn't trying to be demeaning in anyway, but all I said is true is it not? All of which I said a person that is so can't and therefore is only fact, there was no judgment on my part in any of those things which I laid out beforehand, just pure facts. One poster mentioned half-blood and another mentioned barren couples but those topics are in a whole different arena altogether since they stem from different circumstances, circumstances which I find permissible in those cases. Another complaint was about sexuality being a choice, but rather I find flaw in this viewpoint. Rather the mind is shaped inconsequentially from genetics and consequentially from its surrounding environments. If the environment favors "straight" tendencies than likely the person will end up "straight", but if the environment doesn't favor otherwise, then the person will likely be brought up otherwise and when faced with the other tendencies, will likely reject it unwholesomely - so there is a bit of decision in play on the part of the person and the role of family plays in this, so it isn't fully out of the control of the person though we like to entertain this notion. In theory, what I find now is a shift in society, particularly in America, as becoming a more feminized society and the people I am referring to are in part a product of this. The female dominates the man now and men are adopting female tendencies. This is not to undermine the power of women which I concur should be equal, but this feminized society yields to devastating effects on the role of men and propriety, all on the basis of "full equality", and this in turn has a damaging effect on society as whole. This in part leads to future sons being subjected to and learning female tendencies contrary to what they should be exposed in and thus a gradual decrease in genuine men that serve to contrast the qualities of female which holds balance in society and hence resulting in an unhealthy imbalance in society which can be unhealthy for the female too. In every miniscule thing we see in life there are boundaries in place, yet we here imprudently crush these boundaries and confuse concepts to suit our purposes. If I could illustrate this with an example: it is like me holding an apple and saying that what I have in my hand is an apple, yet someone else says "no, that's a banana", but we both know that it is an apple. This scenario is only a microcosm to what is happening today where we like to rebel and say that things are not quite so, but indeed they are. And so many of us love to use the hackneyed phrase "Well, who defines this?" and "That is societal norms, and that doesn't define who we are", but if we keep using this kind of phrasing then we will never find a suitable definition and will always circle around finding definitions and constantly changing them for our own ill-advised purposes. So we destroy boundaries on the sole basis of this idea which leads to recklessness and appalling results, and in addition retort to the idea that people can do whatever they want, which is undoubtedly a foolish idea, because if we resort to that foolish ideology, than society will only go backwards and morality will decline. There is no decorum, there is no respect of the sanctity of traditional family, of traditional life, of respectfulness and only ugliness can arise from this and this only invites more out-of-line radical ideas that can only exacerbate this issue. Society becomes dangerous in this way with no leashes to keep it grounded.
This might of been lengthy response than needed, but this is true and these mechanisms are in play today. I am all for freedom for the human spirit, for a person cannot function healthily without the breath of freedom, but in everything, even in freedom, there are boundaries, and pushing those boundaries lead to unintended consequences as result of freedoms.
