Racism is very real. It happens. But generalizing that all white people are racist makes you no better than the people who stereotype you for your race. You can find people who are racist against literally every race out there, some obviously more than others. But what I think we can all agree on is that it is something a lot of people experience, not any one race. For example, middle eastern people are technically considered "white" but after 9/11 they were widely discriminated against, even the ones who were christian and not Muslim. There will always people who don't differentiate no matter what race you are. The best thing any of us can do is acknowledge this and do our best to just be good to each other. Maybe by the time our generation is running the world, things will be better.

If a family is really THAT concerned about passing down their genes there are other ways. I just don't and will NEVER get the people that don't support or at least tolerate gay rights or gay marriage. Even if somehow being gay was a choice, if that choice makes the two people happy, especially if it comes with the hate and disgust from so many people like it does, why do you give a fuck? Maybe there's something lacking from your life

#4089 Everyone has problems and things they would improve about their life but even with those, I'll fortunately probably never truly understand how some people don't like college. Middle school is the fucking worst, aside from the highlights high school's some old bullshit and life after college is so uncertain and scary. This is a fucking playground with no supervision, something most of us have been waiting for all our lives. Experimentation, growth, self discovery, all the situations and relationships...even the people that claim they hate it here are still unknowingly finding out more about themselves and the world around them each waking day. Like many of you, I'm close to graduation and I STILL don't know exactly what I want to do or where I want to go, if it was acceptable and practical...fuck I'd go to college all my life. I guess all I'm saying is, if you're struggling to find the good in this place, try harder. The last thing you want is to grow up and look back having regrets or the feeling that you didn't do everything in your power to truly take in and benefit from this experience. There's not really anything else like it, and once this time of your life is gone, it's not really something you can simulate.
