Big fucking deal, i worked hard and after my first semester i got accepted to college park only to keep hearing the same shit you're hearing. You know what i did though? I said ,"Fuck you and your entitlement". If people are going to act like they think they're worth more than you just because they got in as a freshman while you had to transfer in, they're not deserving of the community they claim to belong to.

Just remember that YOU CONTROL YOUR EDUCATION. Not these asshats walking around with faux terp pride. You work your ass off and show 'em that the school a person goes to doesn't define them, they define themselves.

#4795 I'm so sick of the elitism at UMD, just because I'm a transfer student doesn't mean that everything I took before my UMD is invalid. Every administrator gives the same "well at UMD we do things differently" speech and I'm so sick of it. Honestly, I've had an awful experience here so far, when people are beating down your door to get it there's no incentive to uphold a positive student experience. If I'm not here there are ten people in line to take my place and that's how my whole experience has been.
