#5052 The only thing worse than a troll post on UMD Confessions is that same troll post with horrible spelling. I cringe every time I see a post about how stupid a person or a group of people are when the post is full of mistakes any half literate person would catch.

#5045 Can we talk about cultural appropriation because I'm still a little confused. As a white kid, I can't always tell what's not okay. I have a roommate who is Native American and another roommate who dressed up in Native American attire for a party. My Native American roommate was really mad and was like, "It's fine. I mean her ancestors killed most of the people she's dressing up as for a party, but it's fine." I definitely see her point, but I also feel like maybe she just likes the way it looks and thinks it's cool and that it'd be harmless. Again, I'm white and uncultured, so I don't know what it's like. Thoughts?

Every time I see a post on the news on Facebook, and the comments following the post are something like..Sending prayers to those victims...
First of all, I believe in God. But still don't understand the concept of sending prayers?? How is that going to help people who have lost a love one or someone who is going thru hell.
Least you can do is donate a few dollars, if you truly want to help.
