#5049 In response to the girl who said "I had sex with 6 dudes this past week. Does that make me a slut?. Yes, it makes you a slut. At least in the eyes of society. I know I'm going to get a ton of butthurt comments telling me it's sexist that girls can't sleep around like guys without the same stigma. I agree with you, but it's just the way it is. Just like men can't hit women.
So yeah, it's the 21st century, and you can "explore your sexuality" all you want. You have rights like anyone else, right? Just don't be upset when college is over, everyone is settling down and looking for a spouse, and all you have left is a loose vagina and tagged FB pictures of yourself shitfaced with your tits popped out in a dusty satellite house basement frat party. You are NOT respectable, you will NEVER be viewed as a "liberated woman" or whatever fuckery you were taught in your lower-level Women's Studies elective course. I guarantee you, NO man wants to wife a girl who he knows has been plowed to the point of no return.

#5058 Can we talk about something real ? It's valentines day and I have to watch my valentine care in the most shallowest way. My so called best friends don't give a shit and my other friends are too high. Maybe I don't have the right friends in your mind. But I deserve happiness

#5057 Today I watched an interview with a guy who grew up as an orphan in a third world country. His mother abandoned him when he was 4 years old, his grandmother, his only caretaker, died when he was 10 years old. For the rest of his life, he depended on the kindness of strangers for his well being, and luckily for him he met the most extraordinary people. He met a 22 year old American Peace Corps worker who took him under his arm and helped him get an education. He found an adoptive mother who gave him a home to stay in. After his education the same American Peace Corps worker brought him to America where he was able to get an MBA and establish a successful business. Now this orphan splits his time between San Francisco and his native country where he runs his own orphanage. I was feeling really sad today until I watched this interview. Even though I didn't really experience their warmth first hand it just made me happy to know that such people exist. I just feel so lonely in this world, everyone seems to be doing their own thing for themselves, and they seem to be by themselves. Friendship, love, camaraderie seem to be conditional on having a job and a social status. I am guilty in acting like this as well, and I don't know if I can ever quit living like this.

#5050 My best friend makes me immensely happy often but she gets in moods where she is less supportive and is thus also the highest source of Angst and depression in my life as well. I can't tell her I feel this way because she just gets mad and calls me demanding. How can someone who knows me so well, does the nicest things for me and makes me so happy also hurt me so much?

#5055 I really like a guy who lives in my dorm. He is so tall and handsome. We don't talk, but I get the feeling that he feels the same way just by the way we look at eachother when we are in the same room.

#5054 Lately I've been going through this cycle of wanting to do things that are good for my overall health but just pussying out. I want to quit smoking and go paleo/Primal but I can't seem to commit for long. I just get an urge to smoke or to eat shitty (but delicious) food and I just do it, like fuck the consequences until after it's done and I feel like shit again. How do I break this cycle?

#5053 I think Greek life has a lot of benefits, but also a lot of downsides. The downsides, however, are not evident in the person that joined a Greek organization, but rather in the person or persons who the new Greek has left behind in their quest for getting drunk 4-5 nights a week.
In case you're wondering, yes, today I realized that several people who were my friends last semester have completely forgotten about me and are not nearly as close with me as they were in December because they joined a Fraternity or Sorority. Do I blame Greek life for doing this to them? No. But I do blame them for not being able to see the difference between a friend you made genuinely and one you had to spend weeks convincing you were good enough for.
