#5401 I'm a pretty tall guy (6'5), and I consider myself pretty attractive. I don't use my height nor my looks as a trump card to talk to girls simply because I don't really think about it; rather I'm confident in my conversation skills and so I go with that. What I don't understand is the certain "awe" that women have for tall guys. Why are women so attracted to tall guys? Could I really just depend solely on my height and looks to get women hot and bothered?

#5399 I just want to know why an outfit consisting of leggings, boots, and a jacket or cute top is a "white girl outfit". If you open your eyes and take a nice look around, there are asian girls, indian girls, black girls, (oh my!) etc. wearing this "white girl outfit". And we're not basic bitches- you're all just too jealous to call us super comfy/snug/warm bitches. *middle finger emoji*
Sincerely, the comfortable white girl community.

#5398 I keep sabotaging myself and feel like I'm in a cycle where I can't get out of it and it's made my college experience nothing but a constant marathon of damage control. If I had to describe my experience, it's like sinking in quick sand. No matter how hard I try, I end up sinking further. Every time I try getting myself together, I end up fucking it up.
In high school, I went to an underperforming school coasted by, got good grades without even trying. I was NOT prepared for Maryland by any means. I don't know why, but I feel like alot of the classes here are really hard. So here I am with a 2.7 GPA and my dreams seem so far away, so what I do to counteract my poor grades is to get involved with as many clubs and research programs in the hopes that some grad school will give me a shot. I have goals of going to a top graduate school, getting my PhD, doing research at Harvard, etc. but it's like my motivation isn't in line with my desires. I'm not even sure if it's what I really want to do. It seems like everyone I know here is super smart, has like 3.5 GPA and talk about how little they study or how easy their classes are or whatever and I'm sometimes saying wtf is wrong with me? I don't think I'm dumb or slow at all. I used to be a creative person, someone who always had a brilliant question, thought outside of the box....but now? I'm unmotivated and I wake up almost every day feeling like a zombie and just getting myself to class is a chore. My concentration has gone to complete shit.
I think alot of this is the result of my parents divorce and my father walking out on my life when I needed him the most. Also, while I do have a few friends here, they're commuters and I rarely get to see them. I just feel like if my life was in order, my family was together, and a great group of friends I can always call on, I would be performing much better. But I just feel alone and like I'm fighting for something I'm not even sure I want.
I'm just afraid of being average, but I feel like I can't push past anything further from it. I just need to work on myself and make a change and this is mad hard for me. I just needed to vent this...

#5396 One pet peeve I have is when professors skip out on their office hours. But at the same time, they expect us to show up to their class not even a second late and will throw the "It's in a syllabus" bullshit in your face whenever it's convenient for them. Guess what, your fucking office hours are in the fucking syllabus too. If you can't make it, at least have the courtesy to send out a quick email and tell your students you aren't going to be there. I literally skipped one of my classes to go and speak with my Physics professor because it was so important to me, and when I got there he basically blew me off and was of no help. Jackass.

#5395 I stop reading an argument if it has any cursing in it. I respect your ideas and beliefs, and I understand that people get passionate about the things that they believe in. However, if you cannot argue something in a calm and collected manner, and need to resort to using "inflammatory" words, then I will stop reading/listening. Now, do not misinterpret this. I curse sometimes, when I'm mad or frustrated. But I believe that the art of argument should be clean and only be based upon sound logic and facts.
