#6981 I for one like my privilege. My grandparents were dirt poor in a communist country. They and my parents both worked very hard to ensure that their children will have it better than they did. Privilege is their gift to me. It would be an insult for me not to embrace it and use it to its full extent. To the whiny liberals: yes I acknowledge I'm privileged, no you can't have it.

I've been told I'm a 9 when I'm prettied up. When I'm not wearing makeup I'm like a 7. And if that coincides with me coming back from the gym or being sick, apparently I'm unrecognizable...I don't even want to enumerate what I might rate on a 1-to-10 scale.
In any case, with my last boyfriend, when we first started dating, I wore makeup around him ALL THE TIME. After we'd been dating a while, I slowly started to skip it out now and then. He didn't really have a problem with it, but I've noticed that, if a guy sees me without makeup--even if he was interested before--he's like the roadrunner, makin tracks outta there!
Thoughts?

I mean, it's fun because there's the excitement of new romance and stuff, but it's so stressful because I'm trying to keep up a facade of perfection for this new guy long enough that when he's finally too invested to leave when the facade finally cracks. Yeah, yeah, I know. If the guy is right he won't care what my issues are, but I feel you have to push your best face through for at least a little while to keep him around.

#6974 I easily get bored on my walks to class because they're so long, so I've noticed I play two games with myself during the walks.
The first is keeping a look-out for people with their noses in their phones who are walking towards me. I keep walking in the same exact path I've already been walking in, and see how long it takes for them to pick up their damn faces and see that they're about to run into me. :) The best part is when they freak out and misstep because they think we'll collide. Hahahaha.
The second is finding another girl who's short and walking fast and do my own speed walking past her to remind everyone: long legs > short legs. Totally evil, but hey what can you do?
