#7068 This is the U.S citizen with the undocumented mother again. I wanted to thank all those who commented with advice. I've decided to go to the financial aid office and tell them my situation.
For the record, I work and pay my taxes. My mother makes about 12k per year (under the table) cleaning houses. She came here with only a high school education. English is her second language so she has difficulty dealing with any kind of paperwork. She's completely under the radar and doesn't even have a bank account. She's extremely fearful of being deported, so she is hesitant when it comes to asking for assistance.
Again, thank you to those who gave a helping hand. To those who ridiculed my mother for not paying taxes, please try to understand that it is only because of fear and lack of capability.

#7064 This is my first semester and I already fucking hate DOTS. Signs are confusing as hell, says faculty/staff Mon - Fri 7am - 4pm, needs campus registration to park. Im like OK I have campus registration and it is after 4pm I parked in the lot. I thought the restriction only applies Mon - Fri 7am - 4pm, but turns out it doesn't got a fucking ticket at 6pm. We really needs the 2nd appeal process (because appeals committee is complete shit) or at least DOTS need to update their signs so we can understand what the fuck it says. As the Diamondback article said, the reasons for DOTS rejecting to approve 2nd appeal process is complete shit.
