#7213 You know what I hate? That women think they are immune to being hit by men. First of all, if a girl was hitting me and punching me, what the fuck do you want me to do? let her hit me? No. I should be able to defend myself.
Don't get me wrong, hitting a women is the least of my intentions but i just feel that men should not be able to take the abuse during a fight.

#7212 the U.S. and the feds are fighting the wrong f---ing war right now. We spend billions of dollars funding and fighting wars on drugs when there are a lot more important things to fund for. Most drugs are not as bad as people think but other nations need to uphold this idea too. We need to stop sniffing around and arresting people for such things as marijuana which is clearly not bad for anybody nor has killed anybody and mind other things. I hate how in other countries, you can smoke a jay outdoors as long as its not bothering anybody but here they lock you up. Hate this man.

#7210 Sometimes I see cute girls walking by my window and I wish I could say hello and meet them, but if I did that people would say it's street harassment or creepy. When is it alright to introduce yourself to someone? Why is it creepy to tell someone they look nice. It's a compliment.

#7209 To the red head girl in north campus diner around 7:30, you're a goddess and I should've said something to you when you walked by to refill your water.
Sincerely,
The guy you were checking out

#7208 You know what pisses me the fuck off? These self-righteous, hypocritical Luddite pricks going about how "technology and social media is disconnecting us from the real world!" or some other similar anti-technology drivel.
Not only does this present a false dichotomy between the "digital world" and the "real world," but it also implies that online connections between people somehow aren't "real" or as valuable as offline connections. The Internet has given me tolerance and respect for what I really am. It’s a place where I can feel free to be what I want without being marked an outcast. I’ve got friends on the Internet who I know far better than anyone I’ve ever known in real life. And this so-called "isolated" social media? It's helped me keep in touch with friends who I never have the chance to see because they moved away.
People have said the exact same bullshit about pretty much every new technological medium since the days of fucking Ancient Greece. Plato about writing, Thoreau about the telegraph, Samuel Morse about the telephone, et fucking cetera.
If I see another person share that goddamn "Lookup" video on my Facebook feed again, I will fucking tear them apart.

#7207 to 7191, I used to be like you (STEM majors, serious athletic training, undergrad research) until I got burnt out --guess I couldn't handle all the pressure, but for what it's worth the girl I've been dating for 2 years now was initially attracted to me because of how driven I was to accomplish my goals. Ultimately some of those goals didn't work out but she's the best thing that's ever happened to me. Even if your schedule is super busy & packed you can still find time to relax here and there, maybe just enjoy eachother's company while doing HW...etc

#7206 So apparently, people were riding camels today on the mall and I never heard about this event till after it happened. Where is the best place to look up these social events on campus (preferably before they happen). I feel out of the bubble.
