#8030 So. A bit of advice, CS people? I'm considering a double major in CS and I got an A in 131 this semester with no prior programming experience. I've heard several people say that probably means I'm set for the major as a whole. Is this true? I'm currently planning on testing the waters a bit more with 132 but I kinda wanna just declare the major because it's so much of a hassle to wait for approval before I can register for classes.

#8026 I don't understand why there are so many STEM Majors and other engineering fields complaining about their grades and comparing them to other majors in the school. Sure your major may be harder and give lower grades but everything is relative. Meaning, you shouldn't be comparing your GPA to the whole school but to your own major. As long as you're above the average you should be fine.
