#8038 By most people's standards, my GPA is pretty average. But to my parents and successful siblings, I'm just about failing school right now. To top it off, My lack of financial stability makes paying for college hell, so parents are urging me to transfer to a community college and start over, or switch majors when I'm dedicated to what I do. I feel guilty that the money going for my tuition is returning a sub-par GPA, but I'm trying to work hard for those A's. This semester was the worst one yet; I have above a 3.0 but since it isn't above a 3.9, I failed, and I'm conflicting between wanting to feel guilty and wanting to justify my grades through my hard effort. School isn't that bad, but living up the standards of family is killing me.

#8035 Sometimes when I see a guy who's cute in a white-trash/trailer-trash/Avril Lavigne brand-wearing way, often mad tatted up I think: you look like you don't have a college degree but I'd hit that

#8034 I just finished watching Elliot Roger's video on YouTube, after watching his eyes, I think the video was shot right after he got rejected by somebody he really liked, for a long time possibly, cuz u know how ur heart hurts after a breakup, that was him holding his emotions back in the beginning and then he becomes angrier but trying not to show it. this dude is well educated, polite, has a BMW and has a rich and famous dad, if he had went to a different college, and didn't get mistreated by certain groups of ppl around him, things could've turned different

#8033 Eventually everything will be gone, not even the legacy of those in history books will make it past a certain threshold. Your gpa doesn't matter at all, this universe is enormous and we are so insignificant like a bunch of ants in the middle of the amazon. A homeless inner city crack head who is a product of our society is just as important as the most powerful world leaders. This is all temporary, smoke weed every day live life stress free, take a deep breath and enjoy this blink of an eye.

#8016 ... it is SO sad that I can 100% relate. I'm dealing with a 'best friend' that is exactly like this... She's so airheaded and she is just so ridiculous. I don't give a shit or two or even ten about how many guys she's fucked or her 'bucket list' of guys she wants to hook up with. The good part... or not so good part.. is that she's loaded.. and she's willing to pay for food....

#8031 I have high functioning autism. I have suffered from this all my life. I do not have a lot of friends because of this disability. I have a hard time finding a good job because of my problems with speech. People think im retarded because they don't know anything about autism and like to assume. I am a rare breed in college because according to a 2012 article by the Huffington Post, only 14 percent of people with ASDs started college in 2011. I feel that because people like me are rare breed in college and in real life that I feel like an outsider. I am not a conventional thinker and I am a creative and artistic person. I once read a statement on a popular ASD message board wrongplanet.net which said that Neurotypicals want group approval while people on the ASD spectrum are more about the individual. I agree with this because when I was younger I did not get why we had to fit in with the crowd, why we all had to be punished when one person messed up. I also didn't get why some people made comments without doing any research. Over the years I found out why they did this and tried to fit in and adhere to social norms myself.
