#8204 Ok I need help. I live in New England and I signed up to take GVPT100 as an online course through the school. The class starts Monday and I've already got my books, but I'm really confused on how this class will work. The class is still not showing up on my ELMS account (it's under the future enrollments category) and since this is my first time taking an online course (my confession) I feel like an idiot because I have no idea what's going on. Are they suppose to activate it ahead of time? Will they do it on Monday? What happens if it's not done by Monday? I'm sorry I sound like I'm freaking out but I would hate to fail my first online course cause stupid ELMS wasn't working!

#8203 Anyone else who took PSYC100 missing their final grade? I've emailed my TA and the professor but still no response. Also how do you argue your grade for the final exam? Because I'm pretty sure I kicked ass on the exam but my grade seems to say otherwise...

#8202 I avoid liking certain confessions because I don't want my friends to discover or even suspect that I share the confessor's problems.

#8201 Has anyone taken math courses online and successfully received UMD transfer credit? If yes, which university and how do I do it? Did it cover the Math Gen.Ed req?
Reason: I am seeking an easier and cheaper alternative to MATH220 that wouldn't require travel to a physical campus, lots of money, or high levels of frustration since math is my worst subject. Reaching out cos I figure fellow UMD students are my best resource - just tryna save gas, money, and my GPA. Thanks so much in advance! :)

#8200 i'm a human, and i think everyone should be checking their privilege more with all these feminism/sexism/misogyny debates. and by doing so, we should all acknowledge that because of our specific demographics, we all have a sense of privilege that influences how we see the world. sometimes we aren't even aware of it. and we all have different experiences as a result of it. no one is saying one gender's experiences is more important than the others. but we have to know where to draw the line before inserting ourselves into conversations about issues we don't fully understand because we never experienced them. we have to stop trying to make other group's struggles less important or less real because we feel like the conversation is focused too much on them. please respect each other enough to listen in order to understand; not just listen in order to respond.
