#8715 Have you ever gone somewhere and the mere environment invigorates your entire being? Inspires you to make changes in your life and empowers you to do better? That's what my vacation to Florida did to me. I went to Miami and suddenly realized the DMV wasn't for me anymore.. it's where I need to be career wise and all, but for my overall health and wellness it's down there. I came back and told my girlfriend. As expected she wasn't pleased. She says she understands and I believe she does to a degree. I want it to be only for a trial run till I get into grad school up here and can pursue my career goals , but for every thing else I need to leave. She gets mad anytime I bring it up or start making moves to do so. I can see why, but would you rather me leave and me not say anything? Cause I definitely can and not have a second thought. My mind is already made up. I don't want us to break up but I do understand that it might be what just happens. I love her, I do. I've factored her into my plans a but I wish she'd be on board.

#8714 I've been marginalized by the Christian faith so much in my life (I'm gay, middle eastern looking and Jewish) that if I meet someone and find out that they are any kind of protestant christian, i immediately think they are ignorant and stupid and I hate them.

#8713 When we were 5 or 6, my best friend (at the time) and I were brought to our neighbor's house by a kid a few years older. I don't remember a whole lot, but I remember he had us touch his sister sexually (she was our age). I don't think the incident ever messed me up really, and I added my friend a few years ago on Facebook. Sometimes I wonder if it really happened as I remember, but I'm too afraid to ask him about it. I've gotten over it, but I don't want to dig up old baggage for him, because he also got molested by another kid in a big public scandal in that neighborhood. It was on a military base too, so you'd think we'd have been safe there.
