Never settling down. Just when I'd make a friend, have 'em over for milk and cookies... Bam! It was time to move on.

The last town we lived in, I fell in love with a boy. He had long blond hair, delicate features, soft skin... At least I think it was a boy. Well, anyway, I was in love. And he or she loved me. Until my mom scammed her, too. Then he left me. That was when I left home and never looked back.

i feel completely alienated from my particular denominational community. there's always been bad blood between me and the community because i don't totally subscribe to some of their cultural biases and beliefs. I don't have any real friends from that community. if i ever have to go to any events or functions, i dread going there just to sit and text my friends. The biggest problem I have is that they frown upon male and female interaction; one of my closest (Former) friends is a girl and we dont talk anymore once we got to college because the community dynamic made it pretty clear we can't be friends. the only conceivable way i can see that I can make amends with her, and finally start talking to her again, is to propose. how ridiculous is that?

#8739 It makes me so mad when people spout this "real women have curves" bullshit. Just because you're afraid to own your own body type and feel comfortable in your own skin does not gibe you any right to put down other women who either are just naturally thinner or work hard to stay in shape.
I'm not saying petite is better than plus sized. But if you feel the need to put down, criticize and insult people for what they choose to do with their own body / how their body naturally is, you are a shitty person. Live and let live, people.

#8738 Truth is - I am worried about what I will be doing in 10 years. A few of my professors and my adviser have told me that I am going to be unemployed as an environmental attorney. I have a high GPA and I am involved with various clubs on campus, but it doesn't matter that I am going to school if I will be unemployed. I do not do drugs and I have an internship at my local government office. Even with all of this, I do not know if I will be able to compete in the job market and live a life without financial security
