#8752 It's genuinely frustrating and annoying to be on this page and see people rip apart confessions. Sometimes it's warranted, but not EVERYTHING needs to have a mountain made of a molehill. I would site specific examples, but I don't want to call people out. And if your response to this post is going to be "if it's annoying don't read it", then please just don't respond, because it's hard not to read something that is right in front of you. And I do love reading the confessions on this page! Some of them are so real, and some of the advice is so good! It's just annoying when trivial things are called out and exaggerated on.

#8751 My boyfriend spends more time reading this confession page than reading my important texts. Talk about priorities!

#8750 Am I a terrible person for considering breaking up with my gf if she doesn't decide to put out soon, or at least do SOMETHING sexual besides dry humping? She's a virgin so I know it's quite a big deal for her, but the thing is, I am too. I just feel we've connected on an emotional level where if we were to lose our virginity to each other, it wouldn't be something we regret. In fact, it should bring us closer together as a couple. I know all the counter arguments: "If you really like/love her then sex shouldn't matter" and "Just because you guys have been dating for 6 months doesn't give you the 'right' to have sex with her", and I completely agree. But a mismatch in libido is also a problem that you can't just dismiss. Yes, I am a man and yes, on average, men tend to try to solicit sex more often than women. But it's not like I'm some horny stranger looking for some easy action. I would only ever do it with someone I care about and trust, and of course take the necessary precautions. I have urges too, and if the only way I can take care of it is by masturbating, then nothing has changed between me being single and me being in a relationship, besides the fact that I'm putting a strain on our relationship by doing so.
Since summer started, I've been having these thoughts. Being a half a country away from each other doesn't help either, as the earliest I'd be able to visit would be August, a month before school starts. I'm scared to bring this up to her because I feel she will misunderstand my intentions and leave me because I was only in the relationship for the sex. She is absolutely AMAZING in every way possible: smart, funny, has a laugh that would make Ebenezer Scrooge smile, and a whole slew of other things that just make me happy to have her. I just feel that getting physical, in any capacity, not just sex, would really make our relationship more intimate than it already is.
I'm really looking for some solid advice so if you could please refrain from poking fun at my situation, that would be much appreciated. Cheers!

#8749 Continuing from my post (
#8693) about harassment, I guess I did leave out a lot of the story. It did in fact happen overnight. The last conversation between us involved me asking her to dinner, and she smiled and said yes. She stood me up so I asked her what was wrong. She said I was being hot and cold and told me she doesn't want to talk or see me again. I tried to talk to her and then left it alone for 3 weeks. I ran into her twice at our place of work, and both times we didn't even acknowledge each other. Those were the instances she used against me in trial. I was not summoned for the preliminary hearing and got an angry call from the sheriffs one day saying I missed my hearing and I need to pick up my court documents. I found many good attorneys who were willing to take my case and agreed she was abusing the legal system. I did have a very good lawyer who should've won the final peace order trial but the female judge, of course, sided with the girl on the false testimonies that accused me of "staring at her." I appealed the decision, and she then decided to approach us to settle out of court, and we agreed to dismiss the case with prejudice. As for work, suspension was standard procedure because of the accusations, but it was rescinded afterwards. I resigned on my own terms for my own sake because I'm just embarrassed and I was harassed by her friends (and I have emails and texts), but I still considered that as sort of forced resignation. To this day, I still don't know what happened between us.

#8748 So I recently graduated and had an awesome interview for a local firm. They recently asked for my references to check out this coming week. 2 are former bosses that will be fine and one is a teacher who I asked to do references last fall when I was doing well in his class(B+ ish) at the time we joked about how references are a joke and in reality umd students really don't know or interact with their teachers too much unless they are helping with research etc. he agreed and said I can at least day I know who you are and you come to class everyday ask question office hours etc. I asked if employers ever do contact him and he said not very often. I ended up getting a C that class and a C- in another one of his classes this spring. After thre final this spring I met him and I was enthusiastic that I passed but he kinda made me feel bad for doing so poorly. We talked though for 30 minutes about the jobs I applied to and he seemed very friendly and encouraging despite my poor performance as a student. This job I recently applied to said that they would def be contacting references so is it worth it to let him know apologize kiss ass bs or any of that? It's very likely he hasn't been contacted since last fall when I asked him to do this and I'm not sure if he'll be caught of gaurd or have any reason to screw me over not sure how to proceed

#8747 I just realized that I think I might be completely and totally in love with you. And I love feeling this way. But it also hurts and it's scary and I don't know what to do.

#8746 Responding to
#8689: I doubt the OP is a guy but I was just wondering what "places" you guys normally trim/shave? I understand trimming pubes, armpit areas, and obviously facial hair, and I recommend that. I also get why some guys think it's necessary to shave the chest, even though I don't care for that and let it be. But I was wondering, do guys shave their backs and lower body (including butt and thighs) too? Is that the norm now? I don't understand that. I hope to get honest responses and thoughts, thanks.

#8745 Girls, do you prefer guys with trimmed, groomed (trimmed + shaven), or shaven public hair? Does it make a different on perspective? Is it a turn on? I personally groom for neatness, so I would like to hear some feedback.
