Most states have laws against willfully spreading std/is without disclosing that you have them. In many states it's classified as assault, in some cases it could amount to attempted murder. Most states that don't have laws explicitly regarding this still can have it fall under other statutes.

Dude it's still a great place to live than most of the world. I've lived in 9 countries. Yeah there's shit that sucks in the US but I'll take it over a good day in a lot of other places. That's not to say the rest of the world is shit, just there are very valid reasons for someone to want to come here.

Also I didn't realize this until I moved away, but Maryland is a shit state. So much is blown out of proportion in MD and it really just hits you with so much that you don't know any better.
