So I know a lot of you nau students are struggling to make ends meet, but for those of you that are interested there are amazing jobs in north Dakota. Because of the oil rush people have flocked there to work the fields but because of the sudden rush of people all the other industries are in desperate need of people. McDonald's is starting wage at 15.00 an hour w/ a 300 sign on bonus & Walmart is starting at 20. There are a ton of job chances, especially if you only go during the summer you can come back with atleast 8,000.00 saved. I just thought y'all would like to know because I read about how much everyone is struggling.

I am one of those people that try to be as hard working as possible, but sometimes I wonder if I am doing it wrong. Is all that matters just a degree? Does GPA even count? Should I just slack off and go get drunk every night? It's a matter of me wanting to better myself, but I just feel like sometimes bettering yourself is overrated. I am also scared to death that once I am finished with college I won't be able to find a job in my field and will be stuck working some dead end crappy ass position.
