#32 dear grad student, thanks for your reply. It doesn't excuse the lack of professionalism in a classroom. If you are given the small privelege of teaching at a college like a few of us have, then you would honor it by stepping up and remembering that being an ass will not make your goals easier. I've seen too many TA's and instructors fall under pressure and think threats and aggressive teaching are the way to go. Thanks again, and we get it, we may just be undergrads, but at least we have real work to show at the end of our classes -outside of yours ;)

#30 After having to go home because I didn't have the money or the resources to keep going to NAU, I'm thinking about going back after 3 years now. I'm ready to take the leap & finish my degree.I feel so old now. I'm 23 & I felt like I wasted my life because I was too scared to take the risks that I should have taken. I hope it's worth it. Though all my friends have graduated now and I'll still be finishing school D:.

#28 Went to Starbucks and the barista squealed when she heard my accent. I told her I'm from Australia. Then she started to dumb down her speech and asked "YOU. SPEAK. ENGLISH. DOWN. THERE?" I replied, sporadically, which she laughed and told me that's not a real word. I love America, but I've encountered a lot of idiots here.
