It's been a week since classes started and I have made 0 friends. I'm already considering finishing my degree online starting next semester. I try to make friends but it seems like everyone already has their groups and they don't want to make any new friends.

I love the gym. I lost a good 20 pounds right before coming to college. I've been eating right and getting fit but the second I stepped into the NAU gym I felt so insecure. Never
In my life have I ever hated being in a gym. Girls literally looked at me like I was weird for being there. But I won't stop going. Because a gym is where you are suppose to go to get healthy and fit, not to show off your already perfect body. So please, stop looking at me like I don't belong because I damn well do.

I'm a girl that's almost 6'2" also. Ya people look at me because I'm taller than them but i hold my head high and walk with confidence! I love my height! I wouldn't trade it for being short any day! From being tall I get noticed, I get more respect, and people don't try to walk all over me. I have found plenty of guys (especially here at NAU) that are taller than me and aren't all basketball players. To the girl that was concerned about her height...own it! Be proud of what you've got! 85% of CEOs in America are over 6'. So hold your head up high and and work what yo mamma have you! P.S. Try Levi and Paige jeans
