I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who became vegetarian for this reason, but when I think of meat...it's differently than most people. Most people see food. But I see this object that used to be alive. And not in a sappy, awww that was a cow, I don't want to eat it...sort of way. More like...oh, a cow, why would I want to eat that. I get so many people telling me that God put meat for us to eat, and etc...but because my brain is wired differently...I see it as a thing you wouldn't eat, not good or bad...objectively.

One because it has blood and guts, just imagine opening your body and seeing your internal organs...ripping out guts and arteries, blood spewing, muscle fibers. Delicious right? What if I cooked my intestines on the grill? Would that make it any more delicious. Furthermore, I see it as an object that is unedible. Sure, the final product like chicken wings LOOKS like food. But look at the raw meat, blood red and slimy. It's like telling me to go eat a mattress, the object it originates from isn't something you just bite into.

While almost all veges do it for ethical or health reasons....I just am one because it's gross. I don't want to eat a mattress or internal organs. And the idea of being forced to (even remotely) makes me sick.

So I don't have sand up my vagina or anything, I just can't stand the idea of being forced to eat something unedible.
