I still have feelings for my ex, and we still talk often. the only reason we broke up was because we go to school in different states. I miss being a boy friend and making a beautiful girl happy. Should I pursue new interests or remain faithful and hope I can reconnect with my ex?

I cry myself to sleep because I fell for a dude that had me convinced that he was falling for me to. After hanging out with him for a month we had sex. I spent at least 5 nights a week with him. We cuddled , talked , watched movies , listened to music , played x box & basically enjoyed each other's company. This went on for 5 months. He told me I was all there was. Until I seen his text between him & another girl , he was drunk texting in front of me. I have never been so hurt. When I confronted him , he said "I don't know why you're getting mad , I told you I didn't want a relationship." I wanted to punch him in the face. I gave him my all , I opened up to him , I became comfortable. Now , I want to just leave him alone. But I am torn apart inside. I just want it to go back to how it used to be. Before feelings came into play & I felt like that was a potential for something. Honestly , it was a waste of time. I hope he might miss me sometime soon & ask me to come back but he's not that type of guy. < / 3
