I thought I could handle an uncommitted relationship but am quickly discovering that I hate everything about it. I like him a lot, but he's so hot and cold; it makes me fucking mad. I need consistency and companionship, not just fun and sex. It's been interesting, but I'm out.

For those of you who have Studied Abroad. What was it like? Did you do it before you did you upper division classes or what? Did it set you back a semester?I really want to go out and study abroad, but my scholarships only cover me for four years and no way in hell can I afford college without them (they'll cover a study abroad trip). Help?

The only reason I'm writing this is to help you understand those with depressive disorders; additionally, it's a response to the previous post about depression and reaching out. Those that have never experienced depression do not realize how embarrassing it is to talk about it. As an individual that has been dealing with depression since childhood (yes, I've been diagnosed time and time again) and currently battling a persistent depressive disorder, I want to emphasize how difficult it is to seek treatment, especially when past treatment just didn't work. Depression, as well as my anxiety disorder, has given me an empty life in which I can't say I've ever been "happy". I don't eat, I can't sleep at night, I'm always either sad, irritated, or worried about something, and my relationships with friends, family, and coworkers is virtually non-existent. This isn't just me, because in reality it's the same story for many individuals struggling with this, as well. Ask yourself: how can you laugh at somebody that feels like they've forgotten how to be happy, or someone that can't even smile without it feeling wrong?

To the guy peeing on the side of McDonald hall tonight: I really wanted to walk up and grab your ass. So bad. Your girlfriends reaction would've been FANTASTIC. Also, damn you've got class. 10/10 would date man who pees on dorm buildings in front of strangers.

The worst feeling in the world is when you love someone so much and only a few months after the breakup, it becomes easy for them to say that they don't love you anymore. It pains me every night and day knowing that the only person I have ever wanted a future with could break me down just like that. I know I am a strong person. I just have no answers for the heart break I have felt in the last couple days.
