To add to those other posts about recently graduated and jobless-

I just counted and have applied to 21 places so far in town (just graduated with my bachelors last month). about half of which are serious "career" places, and the other half are... "jobs".

I've been told that it's my fault that im jobless and that if i really wanted to, i could be employed right now. I honestly cried when I was told that because i believe that i am making the best effort i can make. I've also had this horrible feeling of being a leach to my parents because I dont have a job to support myself (I still have the independence of living in my own apt, but they pay rent). To those other people who posted about being jobless and depressed- I am right there with you. Don't feel alone.

I've been and will continue to apply for new jobs every day (regardless of if it's a career or working the register at walmart) but fuck... i dont understand how "if i really wanted to, i could be employed right now"... I feel so worthless.
