It's sad to me that in the quest to make girls of all looks, body types, etc. feel great about themselves (which I think is awesome!) people often go far in the other direction and look down upon girls who simply like to look nice. I confess I have often felt bullied for "trying to hard", not liking to wear sweatpants, wearing makeup, etc. when those things are simply who I am. I'm not doing it for anyone but myself, yet many people here act like "well, a real woman of God should be comfortable without all that". I just like to look nice and that's never going to go away. So how about we actually start accepting EVERY look.

It truly grieves my heart so heavily when people express that being at Fox has affected their faith negatively, and even though it isn't personally aimed towards me, it gives me more intentionality to live my life with the true heart of Jesus to love those around me because I would never want to be a factor of drawing someone away from God, but only closer to Him. Let's all live with open hearts, and love with a purpose.

When I was 7 my family went to Chinatown. An older man selling dolls showed me a trick where I tickle the doll then the told him where to tickle me. Sadly, my brother watched as I began tickling this doll and shortly after being tickled and touched by an old Asian man. I get nightmares til this very day of that event. I want to be healed of this burden #VDA

I noticed that every girl here who wears athletic clothing and vests has a boyfriend..maybe I should wear athletic clothing and vests.
