I love Fox and all my friends here. It's a beautiful place in so many ways.
But I notice that the "Fox Bubble" is a very real thing...I don't see a whole ton of maturity or seriousness in the kids who go here. When I'm with non-Fox friends, people who maybe have full time jobs or go to secular colleges, I feel comfortable and as if I'm free to act my own age. We have serious discussions about Christianity and life, and even though they might be the same age as Fox students, they are a great deal more level headed. And I'm sorry, but I really don't think I will be dating anyone here. The men do not know how to reach out to women, and either ignore them or vent about yoga pants here on confessions.
Anyone understand what I'm talking about?

I know this is silly and trivial, but I get really sad when people make the "dumb blonde" jokes. My hair is naturally blonde and I always find it hurtful when people use it as a punch line any chance they get. #racists

I check the George Fox confession page at least once a week (often times more than once), but I don't even go to George Fox.

I'm glad I decided to stay in a long distance relationship instead of finding someone at GFU. None of the guys here are my type and do not compare to the wonderful man I have back home.
