To the person who confessed to their porn and masturbation addiction, I applaud you, even if it was anonymous. I fight against that same temptation every single day and night, and yes it's extremely tiring. However, suicide is not a solution, neither is embracing it.
I've been constantly reminding myself that Jesus has broken the chain of sin, and we don't have to do what we are tempted to do. I hope someday we'll both be able to find someone we really really trust, who loves us regardless, and be our confidential and accountability friend. Until then, stay strong!

Porn and masturbation addiction is terrible... I have been an addict since i was 11... It has really tried to ruin my life. Ive nearly committed rape when i was 13 because of it and nearly committed suicide because of that. since that time i have tried to stop. every week at least once. the longest ive gone is 2 months but then it consumes me. everyday i go without it is a day i feel free but also feel that ball and chain. It has for years made it so that i do not sleep without it unless i am totally exhausted. I can stay awake for hours fighting but then i know i need sleep and that there is one way to get it. It messes with you mentally makes you feel worthless. studies have shown that it decreases the ability to talk to the opposite sex. It is not something to mess with... tonight is a night that i want to die because of it.
