I've had it up to here with O'Reilly Auto Parts. I get their stupid ads on my spotify every dang day and I'm sick of them. I hate that stupid song. I hear it and I want to straight up leap out of my window to my death. I actually got on their website to try to find somewhere to complain about the terrible jingle that precedes and finishes all of their ads. I couldn't find it anywhere. I figured it would be under frequently asked questions. It wasn't shockingly. I just want it to stop...

OK, typical crush confession, but I really need some advice! There's a freshman girl that I really like a lot. We've hung out quite a few times. I really want to tell her that I like her and want to be more than friends, but I also don't want to make things weird cuz we also work together. Plus, it sounds like she likes another guy. Should I give up on this? Wait a while? This girl is awesome and I don't want to miss my shot! Any advice?

My GF of 10 months dumped me at the end of lasts month. I am afraid I might hurt her if I tell her that I am in a new relationship.

I am no less of a person or no less of a heart to give my current boyfriend or future husband just because I have slept with him and others before him. For too long I believed that I was worthless as a person and a future wife. It honestly angers me that we place this imaginary value on virginity- as if once you "lose" it you're forever garbage or don't have as much to give your future husband (Or wives), and that's just bullshit.

So I've pretty much fallen head over heels for Chelsea Gritten. She's pretty much perfect in every way imaginable which makes talking to her more nerve racking then ever. I think I've been friendzoned already and she's way too good for me anyway so it's not like I have much of a chance, but I just had to let her know that she has a special place in my heart.

There's a part of me that's had a huge crush on Jennifer Shaheed, but I keep telling myself she's way out of my league.

Did I just friend zone myself? #effme

I would really like to know what men think of courtship. After my last breakup(which was less than a week ago) I have decided I wanted a relationship that is a courtship. In my opinion courtship would be not physical at all, a hug and maybe hand holding, but all the focuse being on growing in Christ together and growing together emotional and just spiritually. It usually only lasts about 6 months and then there is an engagement. There is marriage counseling soon into the relationship. But before the courtship there has to be friendship and to see if the person is someone you want to be with. And then the courtship begins. The people I have seen do this have always ended up incredibly happy because thier focuse is on God the whole time. And they really take the time to see each other and talk all the time. My only hesitation is that I have heard it takes 2 years to fully know a person. But is that true? The reason I want to do a courtship is because I really don't want to go through a damaging relationship again. I have been in 2 relationships for a total of 2 years each, one in high school and one in college. I made the mistake of giving myself away to the first guy I dated which was only a few months of dating in high school. But then the first guy I dated for 2 years just was jealous that I went so far with one guy and just always told me if you love me more than you will do the same with me. Then when I finally stood up and told him no more he dumped me for another girl. Then my second 2 year relationship was different. I thought I was going to marry this guy. I told him of my past and what I had done and he said that if God has forgiven me, then it's none of his business and won't change how he feels. He was a super strong Christian guy who had never even kissed a girl before. I was so thankful for him. But then he became curious. After our first six months he touched me. And I really didn't say no because I wanted it as well. He felt so guilty and so did I so we decided to change and not do that anymore. But to cut the story short we ended up sleeping together. More then a few times. I hated myself. He hated himself for it. We both decided to end things because of reasons which included this and lots of other things. But these two year relationships i have only found damage. I honestly think the older I get the longer the relationship the harder it will be to stay away from sexual stuff. If your intention is marriage then it really should be focused on that and God to see if that person is the one. I don't think it would take two years. It just leaves time for sin to creep in. I also make the mistake of giving the guy everything when I date them because I think it will turn into a marriage. From all the hurt and damage, I want to date again but I am terrified that no guy would even want to because of all I have done with these guys. Or if I do date they will expect the same thing. That's why in the end I want to have my next relationship be a courtship. No physical, but all building together in Christ. I want that next person to be my future husband. I won't probably do this for awhile, just because I need to heal and get my life on track, but do any of you men think a courtship is something that should be done? I am scared that I will never find a guy who will want to do this with me.

So I was the one yesterday that posted about breaking up with my boyfriend of over two years. I want to first thank everyone for their comfort and opinions. I just was wanting to expand a little bit more of why I chose to end things. First off I always respected him and thanked him for his hard work. I would offer my support if he ever needed anything. He was working 18 hours a day. So by the end of the day he was too tired and would forget to text me when he was home. He forget to take lunches to feed himself. He wouldn't even take breaks. He was running himself into the ground. He had lost 20 pounds and would pass out at my house because he was so exhausted. I told him to quite his job. He wanted to and agreed. But there is also a back to story to that. His father. His father was always putting him down and was plan out abusive. My ex was an incredible musician and really wanted to be a pastor one day. Which I fully supported! But his father told him that was not success. That money was the only success in life. For six months I stood there and tried to be there for him. But I was hurt. I was hurt that he couldn't remember to text me( which to add he had a job with similar hours and he would text me and call me every chance he would get, and I was allowed to bring him food and be there for him) this job he really didn't even tell me where he was working or doing. He did tell me he was in the apprentice program to be an electrician. But here was the biggest reason I chose to end things and I probably won't go back to him until he gets the help he needs. He was a liar. Flat out. I found out after we broke up that he was never an apprentice. And found out the hour he was working was illegal. He was also telling me that he was going to the apprentice school and told me the place he was at, and found out that classes were not held there, but really someone where else. To add on to his work he was lying about his reasons of discharge from the military. He wasn't even in two weeks of boot camp and then was held in the medward the rest of the time.. He told me it was because of migraines, his discharged statement said something else. And then he kept on going off about how the military called him back and that he was working for them again. So much of my family and people I know that have been on every branch and my father also helps retired veterans figure paperwork and get the help that they need. They all said that that would never happen.. Then there was how randomly his parents refused to see me. He told me I was not allowed in his house. They told him it was because they didn't want him dating anymore. Wasn't me at all. But I was devastated. They wouldn't even talk to me about it at all. And then Lastly his father kept on trying to put him in counseling. Our whole relationship. Everything was so weird. An excuse for everything. And excuse why he couldn't pay for dinner because he forgot his bank card, and excuse why he couldn't move out, and excuse why he couldn't get a car, (which I never forced, he had been telling me for 5 months that he needed to do these things) an excuse why he was three hours late everytime we would meet somewhere and why he couldn't call me to tell me he was going to be late. To end this super long explanation, I broke up with him mutually. I tried to be positive and told him I still loved and him and cared about him and wished that possibly we could have a future together. When the decision was made there was so much relief in his voice. There wasn't a "give me another week or anything". He knew it was time too. He was sad, but I could tell that this is what he wanted for so long. He needs this time now to heal and figure out his life. I need to heal. All the weird fishy stuff going on and the excuses and forgetfulness hurt too much. I have chosen not to confront him with anything I have found out just because he will need to come clean. He was my best friend. He really was. But there is something In him that has changed. I don't know what it is. I am a little curious if it is a mental disorder or a spiritually hold on him( since he was such a godly man before and how that all changes 6 months ago) But if it was something physiologically wrong it would make sense with the discharge papers saying what it said, and maybe the reason he refused to let anyone see his medical records. And the reason why his parents wanted him to stay at home and do counseling. I don't know. I won't assume anything. I just pray that he can get the healing he needs and I know God will do that. I don't want to sound mean with anything I have said. He was my bestfriend and I thought we were going to get married. We were planning on it. But again with his actions so hesitant, I knew that wasn't what he wanted at this time. I am completely heart broken. He was my life these last 2 and a half years. It's hard because at this time everything reminds me of him. And our time together. Because during those times we just hung out, he was the person he use to be. And I know that he loved me, but there was something deeper going on. I wish this could be easier.. I wish I could have done more. I don't know what to think or do. I miss him more than anything. I pray I can get through this. I pray he can figure out his life and truly be happy in what ever he does and hopefully doesn't have to keep up the lies and excuses.. I could say so much more but I have probably said to much as it is. There is so much back story I could add, but I shouldn't. Just prayer is what we both need. I want to be healed from this hole that now is in my heart. I just hope and pray I made the right desicion..
