I like the movie Silver Linings Playbook because it shows me that people as psychotically emotional as me can still have happy endings... at least in movies.

I don't go here, but my friend does. He has been told by Student Services or something that he cannot be open with his friends on campus about his emotional or mental state because they don't want him negatively affecting other people who aren't officially trained to deal with the information and a bunch of crap like that. I'm sorry. To me that seems counterintuitive. How can someone at this school feel open to seek help and build a support network if they are told by authorities that they cannot burden others with their life and that there status as a student could be reconsidered if they do? That just doesn't sit well with me.

There are SO many people I talk to regularly whose names I don't even know. People who I've known since freshman year. They all call me by my name, but to make not make it awkward or anything I just always call them like "dude" or "bro" or "man" or something. Im bad

As much as I don't like this school and hate being here, through this first semester I learned that this school isn't as bad as I thought it was. The reason why i thought it was so bad was because it didn't fit what I was looking for in a school. But I have learned that the people her are friendly and that the professors here care about not only your academic life but personal as well. That is something you don't get at every college because the campus is so big. When I finally do transfer, that is something that I am going to miss.

today in the bon, I sprinkled croissant crumbs ALLLLLLLL up in the gluten free toaster.

I just went to my first bruin athletic game last night and I barely watched the game. Instead I was too busy checking out that photographer. He has a dashing smile and looks really good in uniform. Anyone know who he is and can give me advice to talk to him???

I am a Christian here and there is nothing I hate more than the GFU Christmas Concert! The students have to spend the week before finals decorating, having evening rehearsals, then a weekend of performances, and taking all the decorations down, spending dead day performing their solo pieces and the rest of the week completing their finals. I guess it's easier if you're a music major but I think the department should calm it down a bit. your concert is very cool but I get the feeling who ever is running the show is a DIVA! I am a business major and I'm not apart of it so I don't know how you truly feel about it. I talked to a girl my freshman year who worked in the band. she said, "it's a lot of work but it's fun. During the hell week you you forget the true meaning of Christmas and you hate everything. Once it's done you can look back on it proud because it ended up really cool" okay... that's summing up what she said... but she did call it hell week! I have a question to the students in the concert! Does the faculty help with all the decorations? Do they help pack it up? walking in there I see them demanding changes and not lifting a finger. I am so sorry, music students! I am praying for you! I do live with one of you and you look awful. Take care of yourselves through your "hell week" my musician friends.

If the singers could stop drinking all the tea on campus I would great appreciate it.
