I really want a bf... but apparently I'm picky. I also never realize when someone is flirting with me... I realize when people are flirting all the time unless it's with me. I'm also terrible at flirting I'm always like "your shoes, they're cool. I wish I could wear them but I have big feet they are size 13, also I love heels but it sucks cuz I'd need to date someone like 6'8 to wear them." I basically shoot them down during my "flirting"

While I was sitting in the Bruin Den tonight working on homework a young lady asked how much a refill of coffee would be. She was bummed to find out that she was 10 cents short, and walked back to where she was working. Welll this super nice guy walked over to her table and simply just gave her that 10 cents she needed. People are amazing, and that was a super sweet move! So simple yet so kind! You were noticed today for your kindness, keep it up! :)

I have a competition in me. I want no one else to succeed. I hate most people. There are times when I look at people and I see nothing worth liking. I want to earn enough money I can get away from everyone.

So basically George Fox is like a boarding school that rich Christian parents send their kids to. I know this doesn't go for everyone here, especially me, but it is basically most of the school. It's ridiculous and annoying. Most of the freshman act like sophomores in HIGH SCHOOL because that is pretty much what they are being treated as. I really don't blame them though, it's not their fault. I believe it's the fault of the school and their parents. Putting all the rules, regulations, and guidelines on us will NOT succeed in making us good people. It ends up making us resentful, or completely subdued. Young adults need to be able to choose a life for themselves, while transitioning into the world of adulthood in college. Not being restricted as much as a minor, but under a different roof.

I'm going to stop there before my rant goes too long.

TLDR? GFU has too many rules, doesn't let us find who we truly are.
(This is not a reflection on the academic quality of GFU, but rather the social construct)
