Despite the fact that it's my third year in a tight-knit department, I do not believe anyone here sees me as a close friend. I am never asked just to hang out with anyone unless there is a whole department or class event (even then I'm sometimes forgotten). It probably does not help that I commute and I'm an introvert. Maybe I'm too weird and different for people to become attached to me. Oh well, at least I won't have to worry about anybody missing me when I graduate next spring.

I hurt myself a few nights ago for the first time in years. Im disappointed with myself and scared Ill do it again. Any help would be nice.

Usually I don't enjoy going to chapel, especially at night, but tonight's was different. The music just seemed different, and I was actually enjoying being there. One reason was Mason Kriz. For some reason he almost made me want to put my laptop down and start dancing. While I wish I was more confident to tell him this in person, as long as he knows he made a small difference in my life is good enough.

I've never even been to a Spring Formal, or any sort of dance where you ask people / get asked to go. Not even in high school.
