I am a woman and I confess that...
I think that the extreme feminist movement is a complete joke. I don't think Hilary Clinton should be elected, she should probably be arrested for violating the law in deleting her emails. Though I am not completely content in my average-sized skin, I choose to try to make healthy positive changes, instead of pushing my unhealthy lifestyle choices on others, complaining, and then encouraging them to take up those choices through a "revolution" of the fashion or media industries. I'm working hard to gain a valuable education in spite of the fact that I'm unsure about my function as a woman in society, and I refuse to blame men for my insecurity. In the end, I confess that I don't think empowerment comes from throwing a girly temper tantrum, blaming the men, and making demands, it comes from taking what God's given you in stride and understanding that He will empower you to make change and have the place in society if that is the plan that He's carved out. (Sorry this was long, had some thing to get off of my chest, and Lord knows you can't post this shit with your name attached to it anymore...)

In one week I graduate. It has given me a lot of time to reflect on what has happened over the past 4 years. All I can remember is the friends that I used to have and no longer have, The people who were important in my life that I no longer talk too, and the deep regret I have for things I have done. And as I sit here, looking at confessions that I know I am a part off, by myself on a Saturday night, it has made me realize what an idiot I am and how I have wasted my 4 years here. I have made no life long friends, I do not even think I will have anyone I keep in contact with once we all leave. I am alone and bitter at myself, mixed in with some depression. I wish I had my time back. I wish I could restart. But here I am, alone on a Saturday before I graduate, regretting.

Ever since I was raped repeatedly by an abusive boyfriend at 16, the connection between true intimacy and sex seemed to be severed completely. That was my first sexual experience. I jumped from guy to guy after I had left that boyfriend. One night stands, flings, a few boyfriends. Sex didn't feel like to love to me. I wanted it to, but it isn't a connection that comes easy for me. I would be so confused by girls who claimed that sex had brought them to some other level of loving their boyfriend. I just couldn't understand or feel it, no matter how many men I tried sleeping with. But now I have a wonderful and loving boyfriend, and there's something about our relationship that feels so different. I feel so close to him. I've now let him into my walls and he's now let me into his. Knowing each other's feelings, struggles, dreams, everything- that connection now between love and sex- I finally think I feel it now. It's not even in the sex entirely. It's our whole relationship. It's not about a naked body, but a naked soul. I don't know that I've ever felt this way before. And I love it. And I love him.

I had no idea that the Phase II bins collected to give to organizations like GoodWill and such... I thought they were just a free-for-all for students... For the last couple years I've dug through those bins myself...

i ended this year with less friends than i started with. even the friends i thought still cared at least a little bit do things without telling me. like i don't exist. i try telling myself that as long as i have at least one good friend it shouldn't matter. but she's not going here next year. i'm afraid i'll be more alone than i am now. i'm scared i'm not good enough for anyone.

I'm over 240 pounds, but I can still look at myself in the mirror and think, "Wow, I'm kinda pretty!"

My friend this semester has grown close with this guy on campus. Both smart and great people. HOWEVER I heard that this guy had been carelessly leading this girl on, someone who he supposedly "cared" about. He has been really inconsistent with her and in the end she was left very confused and frustrated. She offered him grace as she has this whole semester. I don't think she thinks they will go past a friendship ever, but even though I consider him a friend, I think she deserves so much more in a guy- in a romantic relationship obviously but even in friendship! I honestly feel really bad and guilty for feeling this way about him but he just seems so inconsiderate now, and I think she is being too gracious because she could invest in a much better friend
