#2063 So I'd like to get into a routine of working out. Only problem is I get nervous about going cause I don't know if I'd be judged cause I doubt I'd know how to use many of the machines so I'd probably look like an idiot. It'd be nice to have someone to workout with too at least at first. I'd be a beginner so I wouldn't be looking to do too much at first.

#2058 I lived on west my freshman year and there’s a really friendly lady with Chartwells named Sandy. She greeted me everyday when I went to eat on west and eventually started calling me by name. The last two years she’s worked on main and while I don’t eat on main very often, whenever she does see me (like today when I held the door for her), she still greeted me with a smile and asked how I was. Thank you Sandy, and all the other wonderful employees here at WSU. I know I picked the right school to attend.

#2057 I was raped my freshman year here, I am now a senior. Right after it happened I went to the school for help. I was scared to go to the police because I was underage and I was drunk. The school ran tests to see if I had STDs, that was all they did. They told me that I wasn't going to get in trouble for drinking. They told me that I did the right thing going to them and not the cops. Then that was it, they sent me back to my dorm and told me not to worry about it unless the STD test came back positive then I was supposed to go back in. They treated me as though it was my fault for letting it happen and said I did a good thing for not going to the cops... I see him all the time on campus and it makes me sick that he is walking free after what he did to me... The school should have done more but they didn't. More people need to know that the school covered up my rape, and if they covered up my rape how many more rapes have they covered up?

#2052 I'd say I'm a caring person, but this was a new experience for me. A few weeks ago, I was biking around downtown and saw this guy on the corner of third and main. We talked for a bit (things were awkward at first), and it turned out he is a retired engineer living off of social security. He had to resort to a wheel chair because of a lack of money, and consequently not being able to pay for medication for a heart problem. I offered him $20 at some point in the conversation, which he accepted. It was really hot that afternoon, so I brought him over to Sammy's Pizza for the AC. Before I left, we were sitting outside on one of their tables, and he was talking about the bridge, as well as some other pieces of architecture he'd actually worked on himself. This guy is sharp, and I wish him well.
