Make the best of what you have, and stop worrying about things you can't control. Life is too short to worry about stupid things. Do what makes you happy. And all these post about how this school is horrible, maybe you're just making it that way. Because I don't know about anyone else but transferring here was the best damn decision I've ever made. I love the people I've become friends with and this is the happiest I've ever been. Just goes to show that if you make the best of what you have, you're life won't be so bad. Don't get me wrong, I understand college can be difficult, but that's no excuse. Life isn't supposed to be easy.

I'm a freshman here, this is my second semester of college, and this confession is from someone who isn't getting the brunt of this. I'm unhappy right now not for me, but for the upperclassmen here. The Mass Communication department is getting a big hit: the broadcasting and electronic media majors are being taken away and smushed into one major: transmedia. Luckily for the students already here, they have until the end of next spring semester to finish their major and graduate, but anyone who wants to major in broadcasting or electronic media either has to change their major or switch to a different school.
Are you kidding me?
I'm in a class in which most all the upperclassmen won't be able to finish their major and they aren't sure whether their credits will transfer. Now, thanks to you, WSU, the only school in the MnSCU system that offers broadcasting or electronic media is St. Cloud. I'd say nice going, but this is freaking ridiculous. We have KQAL and a TV broadcasting station in Phelps, so instead of offering majors that'll benefit the students working for them, let's take away the majors that'll gain something from what the campus offers and replace them with a freaking GENERALIZED version of them. Come on. This is the most ridiculous thing I've heard in a long time.
