#1319 I didn't choose the perfect path. I remember quitting college in 2012 and getting a job at a mill like it was yesterday. I did it because my dad got real sick and could no longer work and support my mom and house payments. My brother did the same. We rented a house close to our parents and worked. It was a process, but I ended up getting hired full-time at a reasonable $17 an hour rate. My brother worked construction. I poured everything I had into helping my parent's with bills but still they lost nearly everything because they had investments where capital was tied to their home. That's a long explanation but a business/attorney/accountant major could help you understand what I meant by capital with a mortgage. But The point is: I fought for them to even just keep their home. To think of the nasty people I saw along that process still haunts me sometimes. My dad recovered and they are doing much better. That's when I decided to continue my degree. I just wanted to say how how much of a reboot WSU has been for me after that terrible experience. I also want everyone to recognize just how much someone around you, whether at the IWC, SLC Atrium, or Commons,has gone through. We don't even realize it. I also wanted to point out just how lucky some of you are to have a much better situation. Please appreciate that. The next time you call your parents, make sure and thank them. I almost lost my dad already, and I call him nearly every day to appreciate that he's still here and kicking the world after all of that. He's my hero. And I want to be his by finishing my degree and graduating for him. That's my confession.

#1317 For the past 10 years, I have struggled with social phobia, which makes it really really difficult for me to make friends or to be in social situations. None of the therapists that I went to were helpful, and making friends in college has been close to impossible and I have been very lonely. But, I finally found a therapist who is helpful, and I have made a friend. For some people, this isn't a big deal..but for me its huge. For everyone who's struggling with something, don't give up and know that your not alone.

#1315 i really hate gay PDA, but not because i dont like gay people. most people arent comfortable with heterosexual PDA, and im not really used to being around gay/lesbians couples, so when the two mix i get really uncomfortable.

#1314 I absolutely hate it when I'm in the bathroom and someone decides to take the stall right next to me. If there's only one other option I understand, but not if I'm the IWC and there's literally no one else there and 15 other stalls to choose from. Is it just a women thing, or does this happen to guys too? It pisses me off!

#1316 I am confused and hoping an ally can help me out. So here is the deal: I like both men and women, however, genitalia grosses me out. There fore while I appreciate both body forms, I dont find their nether regions particularly attractive. I just happen to find a woman's nether region to be more disgusting than a man's, which is why I have always been with men. I am confused what to call this. I hesitate to say bisexual primarily because I feel like there must be a word for not liking nether regions, I am certainly not asexual as I enjoy activity and am attracted to other parts of the body and because I am sexually attracted to parts of the body I hesitate to say panssexual because the bodies still play a role. Any ideas or people who have gone through the same identification process?
