Truth is I sometimes look through my significant other's messages. Does this mean I don't trust him or can it just be that I'm nosy?

I miss the little things about being in a relationship (I'm a guy). I just love having a girl to cuddle with and put my arm around and just having someone where all you want to do is just hang out and watch a movie or something because it means spending time with them. I know, it sounds very dumb and cheesy

I'm getting pretty sick of the whole "bar scene". Is it too much to ask for a girl to want to go on an old fashioned date?

To the guy who came up and ate his lunch/did homework across from me in Davies this afternoon: you were completely adorable and so incredibly nice. I only wish I had started a conversation with you, but awkward freshman syndrome kicked in. Damn.

I'm a freshman here, my boyfriend doesn't go here and this whole long distance thing is so much harder than I thought. I love him so much and as of right now I don't want to be with anyone else, I just miss him like crazy and I feel like I choose to talk to him instead of trying to talk to other people. Any ideas on how to make it work without neglecting one thing or the other?

Back home, I had the best friend a girl could ever ask for, and now that I'm here I just want a friend like her. I had so many really good girl friends and now I feel like I'm only making guy friends because the girls here are so intimidating and I'm not that big of a fan of mean girls. I don't like drama and I don't like catty nasty bullshit. I live in Oak Ridge and I'm just looking for some girls to hang out with but I'm too scared to try and make any good friends.

A girl just posted a status basically ranting about how the nursing program is rigged because they make their decisions based on GPA. She said GPA is "greatly" swayed by the professors and classes you take. To this girl, stop your pity party and realize that generally, we were all in the same classes and CHOSE to take the other "elective" classes we did. Also, getting a GPA above the supposed 3.8 cut-off takes much more effort than you were willing to put in! Everyone who got in worked their asses off to get the grades they did, and our advisors told us from the beginning that the acceptances would mostly be based on GPA! Next time, think before trashing the accepted nursing students!
