Dear Friends of Eau Claire,
To all of you bashing different candidates, homecoming is supposed to be fun. It is not about who wins or loses its about bringing the orgs together and everyone seeing what they are all about. Yes statesmen have won the past couple of years, but they also are out on campus mall every day all day because they care. Yes they are annoying, but they are just having fun and I know for a fact that some people find their quirkiness and outgoing statements a breath of fresh air. All the candidates are amazing this year and why don't we just let the school decide for themselves who they want to vote for. If you do not like a candidate then don't vote for them. Simple as that. Now how bout instead of telling us who we shouldn't vote for, you should tell us who we should vote for and why.

My friend group is getting so drama filled now. I love all these guys but holy shit its not middle school anymore...

For everyone that is upset about homecoming or how well certain campus organizations do over others in regards to homecoming, you honestly have no idea the time, money and dedication they put into everything they do. That isn't just for one group either, every org that participates in homecoming does so much behind the scenes work that it's unbelievable. And when it comes to campaigning, no one is being fake just to get a vote. Everyone tries to be as approachable as possible and are more than willing to have a conversation with you. If you don't want listen to the music, the candidates or get the free stuff, they only campaign in a certain area and are almost completely avoidable. Otherwise you can always respectfully decline. Homecoming in college, as it was in high school, is meant to be a fun time for everyone. Please be willing to step outside your comfort zone and enjoy this one week while still respecting everyone, whether they choose to be involved or not.

WHY THE FUCK is everyone complaining about Homecoming and the Statesmen? What college kid DOESN'T like free stuff and getting a nice shout out? Seriously? It's one time during the year to actually be happy and enjoy the festivities happening on campus. Either loosen up or shut up, because the rest of us want to make the most of this week.

I use to sleep around a lot in high school. And I'm proud to say that I haven't kissed or anything with a guy since being in college. Progressssssss! But I kinda miss cuddling. Haaa

I was a varsity starter for volleyball in high school. I played DS so I do have a bigger butt and thighs. And I was a varsity thrower for track, so I have muscular arms. I don't look like a man or anything close, but I honestly feel ugly and manly for having bigger muscles.
