I have made some of the greatest friends at UWEC however, it's hard for me to feel close to them because of my past. I've never really had friends this close and I don't know how to handle it.

I'm trying to build up the courage to tell my friends and family that I'm suffering from depression. I have no idea how to do so. The thing is, I'm always the one telling others they can come talk to me and I'll be there. I give really good advice and am always available to listen to any problems, plus my major even involves helping others. Unfortunately, while I'm able to help others, I'm unable to help myself. Its gotten to the point where I can't even think about tomorrow and expect that I'll be here. I don't think "Oh I will do this tomorrow" or whatever. It's just a blank spot. I don't know what to do, and I'm really afraid. Truthfully, the only thing keeping me here is for the sake of my family and friends. Even if anyone were to say "add me, i'm here to talk," it wouldn't help. I feel like a lost cause.

I broke down today because someone I thought was my friend was being an asshole. I heard you down the hall. You should know that your false niceness is unwanted, disrespectful and mean. I thought you were a good friend apparently not. Buzz. Off. False friends suck. This is not high school so be honest jerkoff.

I don't understand why people are giving the statesmen so much shit. Homecoming is a time to support the person who you want to win as king or queen, instead of tearing other people down. Statesmen put hours of work into supporting their candidate every single day. If everybody took 1 minute to get to know Dane, they'd find out he's one of the sweetest guys on campus, which is why he's their candidate. Maybe try to look at the positive side next time instead of saying Statesmen shouldn't win because they always do. That's not fair to them, just as it wouldn't be fair to any other group/candidate if they got the same comments.

I find it sad that a bunch of adult men and women are obsessed with who is going to win a popularity contest.

The amount of people bitching about homecoming is too damn high.

To everyone saying that the Statesmen deserve to win homecoming because they "put the effort in," shut up. Do you really think the other groups don't put effort in? Try opening your eyes and stop making assumptions. The other groups work just as hard.

I have a confession. How about instead of bashing canidates, people start talking nicely about the one that they want to win.
