i go to sleep almost every night wishing i wouldn't wake up the next day. no, i'm not going to do anything to make that actually happen. it's just wishful thinking.

My roommate is so pathetic. She is always glued to some sort of device and never considers cleaning so I'm stuck with the chores while she is just tapping away on her phone and tablet.

Work on a group competition all fall semester with this girl...I'm starting to have feelings for her but I don't know how to tell her Since we have a whole semester yet where we need to work in this group...

So I've heard all the bullshit about not comparing yourself to others, blah blah blah...but it's easier said than done. Lately (and I think Facebook plays a big part in this), I've been getting so depressed whenever I see statuses about engagements, marriages, babies, buying a house, becoming debt free, landing that dream job that pays well, going on some cool vacation, etc. Meanwhile, I'm struggling just to make ends meet and I'm nowhere near starting a family and/or landing that dream job. In fact, I'm nowhere near where I thought I'd be at my age, which is so depressing....especially when I see my peers accomplishing great things and/or living fulfilling and exciting lives. It seems like everyone's lives are going along splendidly while I keep on hitting roadblocks. I know the grass isn't always greener on the other side, but boy.....does it sure look that way. Here's to hoping things will start looking up.
