So I really want to go backpacking in Europe for 2-3 weeks but it seems that none of my friends want to spend a couple thousand dollars on an amazing trip. I don't really want to go alone, however. What is an adventurous kid to do?

What do you do when you successfully escape something, but it comes back? Something you try to forget, but it still haunts you to this day. And now, you realize it is even closer to you then you thought it was. How exactly do you stop yourself from going insane from the fear and hurt? Is anyone else in a similar situation?

I now understand why people have fuck buddies instead of pursuing an actual relationship
