During finals/dead week, in the really late hours of the night, Willis library is so damn depressing. Most people are all tired looking and exhausted, as if they just survived a long battle in a trench during World War II. I can't help but also be reminded of one of those places that animals go to die. Is it really beneficial to stay up all night and study? It doesn't work for me. I get too tired, and it just seems futile to even try to memorize fuck all. I never understood why people pull all nighters. It just seems asinine and totally detrimental to your health. How much do you even retain, anyways. Your brain is so exhausted, it doesn't function much more. You might as well just sleep. Idk. Somehow I'm able to work my schedule out where I get 6 consecutive hours of sleep and still manage to go to all 5 of my classes and have time to study and complete assignments. Of course, I do sacrifice my social/fun life, but I find it a very worthy decision. Maybe I'm just really organized or some shit. Idk. But either way, whatever works for you. In all sincerity, I hope all of you pass your finals. May whatever diety or thing you believe in be with you.

First semester, my roommate and I didn't get along. She was a bitch, and I'd always be nice and ask her if she wanted to come with me and my friends any time we went out or did anything, but she always said no. We'd both be watching the TV, and she would turn it off when she left the room...while I was still starting at the blank screen. Her boyfriend stayed the night all the damn time and I walked in on them more times than I can count. And she let him eat ALL of my food..One day I was using the restroom and my wallet fell out of my back pocket into the yellow water in the toilet. Guess whose towel I used to get it out and wipe it off? Stupid bitch.

My roommate this semester was a furry. He went to furcon one weekend, has a big ol' fursuit, and I've caught him jerking to furry porn on several occasions, it's sick and disgusting. I was always paranoid I was gonna wake up being gangraped by a bunch of dudes in fox and lion fursuits. Thankfully, I'm done with all my finals and back safely at home. Do any NORMAL people wanna room with another normal person? Preferably at an apartment? (I was at Bruce)

I need opinions on this. I met this girl, we became acquaintances, I asked her out, she said she was busy that weekend, I was kinda dissapointed and I thought "maybe she just wants me to work harder at it" but I kept in touch with her and we became closer friends. Her birthday is coming up and I wanna ask her out again, not to go out necessarily on her birthday but maybe the day after or something. Does anyone think this is a good idea?

Majors that are an absolute waste of time are as followed:
1. Art
2. Psychology
3. English
4. Dance
5. Business Admin
6. Kinesiology at UNT
7. Anything Art
8. Sociology
9. Philosophy
10. Fashion
Don't try to justify how these aren't a waste of time either because you are wasting your time.

Can we all just agree that Casey M. is generally unliked and probably gay? I'm tired of seeing that kids name on every other post.

THE FINALS POEM:
'Twas the night before Finals, when all through the house
Came the sounds of mad typing, and the click of a mouse.
The backpacks were flung on the floor without care
In the hopes that Summer soon would be there.
The good kids were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of straight A's danced through their heads.
But I'm drinking coffee with a book in my lap,
With sleep deprivation, feeling like I'm on crack.
When out in the hall there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my chair to see what's the matter!
Away to the door I flew like a flash,
Threw back the bolt, and kicked aside my trash!
Into the hall my head peeped through the door,
And beheld a thing I had not seen before.
A fellow student who had finally snapped.
The math and history, the studying pain,
Had driven my fellow student insane!
I dropped to my knees and took up his head,
In fear that this dear student was dead.
As I picked up my phone, and was turning around,
St. Finals came down the hall in one bound!
A bundle of bottles he had flung on his back,
And looked like a peddler just opening his pack.
His eyes, they were bloodshot, he didn't look great,
He smelled something like a cafeteria plate.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That sagged when he sighed, like a bowlful of jelly!
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his task,
Giving the student a sip from his flask.
The student awoke, and proclaimed with a cry,
I know tenses, and figures, and the square root of pi!
St. Finals stood up, and reached in his pack,
Handing the student a small leather sack.
He slowly winked, and said with a grin,
"Take what's in here, and I needn't come again."
The student opened the sack with care,
And his eyes grew wide when he saw what was there!
Coffee and chocolate and Red Bull and Cokes!
Adderall and black tea, espresso and smokes!
"Careful with them" said St. Finals with a nod.
"For these things are bad for heart, mind, and bod.
If you hadn't procrastinated, you wouldn't need these,
For they turn your brain to iced cottage cheese."
"I'll do my work sooner!" said the student with a shout.
"I won't need these drugs, I can do without!"
St. Finals shook his head as he stepped out the door,
"Come this time next year, you'll be late once more."
