I've been seeing a good amount of confessions from Muslims on here and as a Muslim I wanted to answer the question of the person who asked what's in my religion for me. So to you, sir or madam: I was raised in Islam but don't follow it blindly. I've (as objectively as I can) learned about every religion and continue to, and I find that Islam is the only one that makes sense. I respect all religions and people of all religions but that's why I'm a Muslim. What do I find in Islam that is worthwhile? Logic and a strict moral code. It's an amazing way of life and the Qur'an is the perfect guide. Why I believe in God at all comes down to the fact that I can't imagine how all the little miracles just got here on their own, or through evolution. Of course science is pretty accurate, but to me there had to have been a religious beginning. That's why I love Islam, God, and my Prophet. But at the same time, I'm never going to push my beliefs onto anyone else and I'll always respect everyone from Buddhists to Hindus to Christians to atheists. So I hope I answered your question. I wouldn't have sent it in as a confession, but I deactivated FB recently ;)

I am embarrassed by the amount of fat ass girls running around on our campus, in their underwear, for some sort of pride in their bodies. You are the epitome of gluttonous America. If you are ashamed by the way people look at you, or treat you on campus, you should be pro-active. In the mean while, I'll try keeping my lunch down while I avoid thinking of your cellulite, which has given me night and daymares for a year now.

As an Atheist I can't understand why so many other atheist's spend so much time focusing on religion. As long as someone's belief isn't harmful I could care less about. Why spend so much time on something you don't even believe in?
