#12 I secretly have a hard time being around my friend simply because he refuses to have an open mind about videogames. Our friendship is primarily built on the foundation of weed and gaming. Dude doesn't read or have much intellectual curiosity about our world outside of weed, gaming, and comic book movies these days. And when we chill he will only want to play Battlefield, Call of duty, or basically games that just involve shooting and online multiplayer. Dude refuses to play campaigns and trashes games that are genuinely well-written, like The Last of Us and Bioshock because he thinks that campaigns are a way of the past. I like online multiplayer shooters, adventure games, puzzle games, indie games and enjoy all kinds of games which makes it kind of frustrating to hang out with a dudebro who only plays dudebro games and refuses to broaden his taste. Didn't used to be this way. Thing is, he's one of my only close friends and I don't smoke anymore and refuse to just stick to playing the same shit every time we hang out, so now, because of this, we aren't as close anymore and don't hang out that often. Lame.
