#3629 Why do so many people including some professors seem to hate Greek Life? I'm in a fraternity (an IFC to be more specific) and it irritates me when people say "Greek Life is paying for friends" or "fraternities just drink, party and have sex" Why? People need to do some research on what Greek Life really is before jumping to conclusions.

#3626 If you do not want advice on something (such as a goal), then do not freaking post it on Facebook for all your friends to see. If all you want is blind supportive-ness, then only post it where your mom can read it. Otherwise, do not get offended when someone gives you honest, realistic expectations about what it takes to reach that goal, especially when you know that they know what the hell they are talking about. That is what good friends do, or at least it is what they should do.

#3625 can anyone, by show of "likes" fill me in as to what the most commonly-accepted definition of "forcing" your beliefs on someone? I feel like the definition varies depending on one's sensibilities. Personally, I have a very thick skin and I'm argumentative so someone "forcing" their beliefs isn't a problem for me. Let me put it this way: is saying that you believe in absolute truths by expounding "this is right" or "this is wrong" a form of "forcing" beliefs? Or is it because there's an implication that the forcee is somehow less of a human-being?

#3628 most of the asian girls here are stuck up bitches. Everyone else has no problem holding the door open for people behind them, but most of the asian girls never ever do it. learn some common courtesy

#3623 I met this girl the other night at electric cowboy. She was amazing, she was pretty much everything I would ever want in a girl it was easy to talk to her I didnt have to pretend to be someone I wasnt. She had a beautiful smile and we danced to every song. She told me goes to TWU and that shes a freshman. The more I got to know her the more all I wanted to do was make her mine. I asked her (ashely) and her friend (alex) if they wanted to come back to my place for drinks I put my jacket around her because it was cold outside she got her car I got my car she started to follow me but the light change and we got separated....I didnt get her number just her first name (Ashely) she loves to play basketball and was big into sports in high school. Shes from a small town and only graduated with 63 people in her class. She is working on her degree in sports medication or somthing like that...ashely if your reading this not only do you have my jacket but you took a little but of my heart with you...I hope I get to see you again ill be at the same place every thursday waiting for another dance.
