I'm incredibly disappointed in a group of people I thought were intelligent. Something regarding professional conduct was discussed, with every reason to take a specific action against an individual and no reason to allow them to continue their behavior presented, and when all was said and done, it was treated not as an evaluation of professionalism but as a popularity contest. I am beyond disgusted at the outcome, and the thought of looking the people who made the decision in the eyes makes me want to throw up. Especially because the problem will remain, unsolved, potentially exacerbated, and they have proven that when practical, adult decisions have to be made, they would rather vote based on friendship than facts, on personal relationships instead of professional integrity. Or, in the case of one incredible coward, they would rather not vote at all.

Even with all the construction cutting off some of the campus, I still go out of my way to take the long way to my classes and avoid the library mall regardless of where my next class is. That way I may be like 3 minutes late, but at least I can avoid greeks, feminists, megaphone preachers, and all other manner of annoying people stopping me to spread awareness about things I don't care about/was already aware of and handing out pamphlets that I immediately tear up and throw into the recycle bin. All the extra walking has also helped me lose like 7 pounds since August so I'm satisfied.
